ABOUT THE PROJECT:
This was a project I did focusing on the decline of the seaside, specifically around Southsea area.
I used the ViewMaster to inspire my visual outcomes because they used to be collected similar to postcards: both are things we don't typically see today with the development in technology.
I thought it was interesting to see how Portsmouth has changed over the years, a once booming family town, now quiet and overrun with university students.

This was a physical thing I made using a laser cutter. I wanted it to be a larger version of the ViewMaster and able to be used in a similar way.
This is rather large in real life, designed and created by myself.
This was the original View Master disk I based this entire project on.
